Every Tuesday from 4-6pm, you visit us at the farm, and we have the tables set for you. There will be about 10-20 different vegetables available each week, and the mix of vegetables changes as the season goes on.
Take as many vegetables as you’ll eat fresh
In the Zephyr Organics CSA you take what you’ll eat fresh and pay what you can based on your household size (try our sliding scale). We offer as much as you would like and we just ask that you only take home as much as you will actually use fresh.
At times, popular items may be limited if we only have enough for every member to take a certain amount—for example, when the tomatoes first ripen.
Don’t like fennel? This is the CSA for you! We want you to go home with vegetables you love. Someone else in the CSA will be a fennel lover and it will all even out in the end. We will encourage you to try new vegetables and varieties though!
Making a big meal for guests? Please take home extra veggies and share them! We know that there will be weeks when you are eating out, or traveling, and so you will take fewer veggies home on those weeks, and we expect it will all balance out in the end.
Do you want to do some canning, freezing or preserving? Please ask about making a bulk purchase. Your CSA share is only meant to provide enough fresh veggies, not to put up extra for the winter.
Are you a veggie juicer? Please ask about making a bulk purchase. Your CSA share is only meant to provide enough fresh veggies to eat, not drink.
